30-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts. It is centered at about 775 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 85 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 135 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move nearly Northwards parallel to Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Kayah States, farily widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Magway Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.68 inches in Kengtung, 2.44 inches in Naypyitaw(Ottarathiri), 2.36 inches each in Naypyitaw(Pobbathiri) and Kawthaung, 2.28 inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi), 2.17 inches each in Gwa and Coco Island, 2.05 inches in Nyaunglaybin, 2.01 inches each in Pinlaung and Ela and 1.97 inches in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri).

BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet  off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Shan State.
