29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 6.06 inches in Kawthaung, 3.27 inches in Mudon, 2.99 inches in Manaung, 2.90 inches in Thabaung, 2.64 inches in Ye, 2.60 inches in Phyu, 2.36 inches in Mawlamyine, 2.32 inches in Labutta, 2.28 inches in Chaungsone and 2.24 inches each in Namsam(Southern Shan) and Hainggyigyun.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northern parts of West Bengal, India, has moved Westwards and reached over Jharkhand, India. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kachin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Northern Shan State. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
