27-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” crossed in the interior of Indonesia has recurved and moved South-Southeast and now lies again over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca. It is centered at about 360 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 140 Nautical miles Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 50 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  460 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka has further intensified into a Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Sri Lanka coast.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 180 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 395 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy and over the over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and State. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
