25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Northern Shan, Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
