26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into well marked low pressure area around 15-10-2024 and continue to move West-Northwestwards  and may reach to North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India around 17-10-2024. Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th October 2024: Weather will be partly cloudy in Chin State. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Eastern Shan, Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal.
