23-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.14 inches in Ye, 0.43 inch in Myeik, 0.16 inch each in Pinlaung and Kawthaung and 0.08 inch in Kengtung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kayin, Mon States, isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is 100%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region.
