26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been fairly widespread in Southern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Bago, Yangon Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States and 3°C to 4°C above November average temperature in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 7.3°C in Hakha, 9.7°C in Tiddim, 11.0°C in Pyinoolwin and 12.0°C in Myitkyina. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.12 inch in Heho and 0.08 inch in Pinlaung.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) has become less marked. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm“(TORAJI)” over the South China Sea is likely forecast to move slowly westwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th November 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Southern Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
