26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain h‌ave been fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and Chin State, isolated in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below December average temperature in Kachin State, 2°C below December average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, 3°C to 4°C above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and 5°C above December average temperature in Mandalay Region and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 6.7°C in Putao, 7.0°C in Hakha, 8.4°C in Myitkyina, 9.8°C in Machanbaw,  10.5°C each in Namsan(Southern Shan) and Loilin, 11.0°C each in Heho, Tiddim and 11.3°C in Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls record were 0.32 inch in Tiddim, 0.28 inch in Mawlaik, 0.24 inch in Yeu, 0.16 inch each in Hakha, Kalewa and Kalay and 0.08 inch each in Tamu and Mingin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd December 2024: Rain will be scattered in Chin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan State. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
