28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain h‌ave been fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State and isolated in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below December average temperature in Kachin State, 2°C below December average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above December average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States, 3°C above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Kayah States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 4.0°C in Hakha, 7.4°C in Putao, 8.3°C in Myitkyina, 9.0°C in Mongyang, 9.7°C in Pyinoolwin, 9.9°C in Machanbaw, 10.2°C in Loilin, 10.8°C in Heho and 11.0°C in Namsan(Southern Shan). The noteworthy amount of rainfall record was 0.08 inch in Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd December 2024: Likelihood of rain will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Regions and Shan, Chin States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
