28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain h‌ave been isolated light in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 5°C below December average temperature in Rakhine State, 3°C below December average temperature in Chin State and 2°C above December average temperatures in Kayin, Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were -1.0°C in Hakha, 4.8°C in Tiddim, 5.0°C in Namsan (Southern Shan), 5.5°C each in Heho and Pyinoolwin, 5.6°C in Loilin, 8.2°C in Pinlaung, 8.6°C in Putao, 8.7°C in Myitkyina and 10.0°C in Nyaungshwe.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th December 2024: Rain are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
