 27-8-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Northwest  Bay of Bengal (Odisha Coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move slowly West–Northwestwards and across Odisha, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over ‌the South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15thJanuary 2025: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah, Chin, Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin State.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 15thJanuary 2025:                      Generally fair weather.
