SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State, 2°C below January average temperature in Mon State and 2°C above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and 3°C above January average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Eastern Shan States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.0°C in Heho, 3.8°C in Loilin, 4.2°C in Namsan (Southern Shan), 4.8°C in Pinlaung, 5.7°C in Pyinoolwin, 6.5°C in Mongyang, 6.7°C in Tiddim, 7.0°C in Hakha, 7.6°C in Myitkyina and 7.7°C in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22ndJanuary 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kayah, Kayin, Mon Shan States.
