27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Mon State, scattered in Bago Region, Kachin, Rakhine and Kayin States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region. Day temperatures were (5°C) above May normal temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) above May normal temperatures in Sagaing and Magway Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayah and Mon States, (2°C) above May normal temperatures in Mandalay and Bago Regions, (3°C) below May normal temperature in Kachin State and about May normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Monywa and Pauk, (43°C) each in Kyemone, Myinmu, Myingyan and Gangaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Dawei (4.68)inches,  Kyeikkhame (2.80)inches, Chaungsone (2.09)inches, Yay (2.05)inches, Shan-Ywar-Thit (1.65)inches, Launglon (1.57)inches, Kawthaung (1.14)inches and Kyauktaw (0.83)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th May, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairlywidespread in Taninthayi Region and Mon States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Kayin States and isloated in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
