SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State and rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, scattered in Lower Sagaingand Magway and Mandalay Regions, Sourthenshan and Chin States,fairly widespreadin BagoRegion, Kachin,EasternShan andRakhine States,Widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Magaway Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Gwa (2.64)inches, Mogoke (2.49)inches, Kawkareik (2.44)inches,Kya-In-Seikkyi(2.23)inches,Pinlaebu (2.01)inches, Homalin(1.81)inches, Mawlamyine (1.77)inches, Bago (1.73)inches, Magway (1.62)inches and Yangon (Kaba-Aye) (1.53)inches.
BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and weather is partly cloudy elsewhere in theBay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Bago Region, Eastern Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
