SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region, scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin State, isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Minesat (5.16)inches, Hkamti and Northern Dagon (4.72)inches each, Pathein (3.78)inches, Dawei (3.71)inches, Launglon (3.54)inches, Thandaunggyi (3.43)inches, Yangon(Mingaladon)(3.27)inches, Yangon(Kaba-Aye) and Kyeikdon (3.15)inches each, Central Yangon (2.64)inches, Sittwe (2.56)inches and Myeik (2.52) inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th JULY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State, isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States.
