28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 25th May, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Shan State, scattered in Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kayah State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavy falls in  Mon State.
