25-10-2025:According to the observations at 11:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Westwards and further intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 330 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 530 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 540 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression on 26-10-2025 and Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining over Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northeastwards and is centered at about (285) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco Island, (295) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Hainggyigyun, (305) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Thandwe (Myanmar), (285) Nautical miles Southwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), (315) Nautical miles South of Khepupara (Bangladesh), (300) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Sagar Island and (330) Nautical miles South of Canning (West Bangal, India). Monsoon is strong  over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread  in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State,and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in  Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Kayin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay. Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40-45) mph. Squall with rough to vigorous seas at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast . Surface wind speed in squall may reach (50-60) mph.  Wave height will be about (9-12) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast and (13-18) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
