 24-7-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha Coasts, India during next 36 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAYINFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th May 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Bago Regions and Kayah, Rakhine states. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon States.
