BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at 06:30 hrs MST today, the Troipical Storm“(WUTIP)” have moved West-Northwestwards.  It is likely initially to move Northwestwards and cross to the Hainan Island, China on 13-6-2025.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 12th June 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw,  Kayah, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about 6-8 feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin,  Mon States.
