BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Special Weather: According to the observations at 18:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over  West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand, India still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards and across Jharkhand and north Chhattisgarh, India during next 2 days.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 10th July 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Southern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-11 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States.
