24-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (6) miles west-northwest of Mong Kung), latitude 21.65°N, longitude 97.44°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (56) miles north-northwest of Namsang seismological observatory was recorded at (17) hr (41) min (29) sec M.S.T on 11th July, 2025.
