26-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 415 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 430 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Wind Wave Condition

According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the wind wave over the Kayah, Kayin States Myanmar has moved west-northwestwards and crossing over the Bago, Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.

Next 24 hours forecast

It is likely continue to move west-northwestwards and move over Magway Region and Rakhine State.

General Caution

            Due to the wind wave, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States today morning to 3-9-2025. Occasional squalls with rough seas are will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
