BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm “RAGASA” has crossed over the Southern part of Guangxi, South China, moved Westwards and downgraded into a Tropical Depression, still crossing over the Northern parts of Vietnam. It is likely continute to move Westwards and it may pass into the northern inland parts of Vietnam during next 24 hours and gradually weaken.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Rakhine, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kyin Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Shan States.
