BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Features: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” over the South China Sea has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified into a Typhoon “BUALOI”. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and cross over the northern coastal areas of Vietnam as a Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” during next 48 hours and as a Tropical Depression over Laos during next 72 hours.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah,Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon and Southern Shan State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
