BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Features: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Typhoon “BUALOI” over the South China Sea has moved West-Northwestwards and still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and cross over the northern coastal areas of Vietnam as a Typhoon “BUALOI” on tonight, the boundary areas of Vietnam and Laos as a Tropical Storm “BUALOI” on 29-9-2025, a Tropical Depression over Laos on 30-9-2025.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kayah, Rakhine, Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Sagaing Region and Kachin, Easthern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Regions and Chin Rakhine Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
