23-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan and Kayah States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Patheingyi (3.25)inches, Mandalay (3.15)inches, Khayan (2.74)inches, Payathonsu (1.89)inches, Lashio (1.42)inches and Mogaung (1.18)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
