SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan and Kayah States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Patheingyi (3.25)inches, Mandalay (3.15)inches, Khayan (2.74)inches, Payathonsu (1.89)inches, Lashio (1.42)inches and Mogaung (1.18)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th September, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (1 - 4) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
