Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Sittwe (2.48)inches, Myauk U (2.24)inches, Muse (1.97)inches, Bhamo (1.81)inches, Kyaukmae (1.73)inches, Ann (1.57)inches, Tagaung (1.52)inches, Kungyangon (1.42)inches, Matupi and Kyaukpyu (1.38)inches each and Thipaw (1.22)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
