SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Kayin State, scattered in Mon State and fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Saging Region, Kachin, (Northern and Southern) Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were about November average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Chin, Kayin and Mon States, (5°C) below November average temperature in Yangon Region, (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and (2°C) below November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Heho and Ramthlo, (6°C) each in Thipaw and Tiddim, (7°C) each in Pinlaung and Loilin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Launglon (2.64) inches, Dawei (2.33)inches, Yay (1.02)inches, Myeik (0.79)inch, Chaungsone (0.59)inch, Paung (0.51)inch and Kyeikmayaw (0.16)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the East Central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
