SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States, (3°C) above January average temperatures in Bago Region, Southern Shan and Kayah States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Thipaw, (6°C) each in Moemate, Heho and Mongyang and (7°C) each in Lashio, Nyaung Shwe, Ramthlo and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th January, 2019: Likelihood of light rain will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
