24-10-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (11) miles southwest of Kale), latitude 23.07°N, longitude 93.92°E, depth (49)kilometers, about (36) miles northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (20)hr (14)min (04)sec M.S.T on 13th March, 2019.
