25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower  Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March normal temperatures in Chin and Kayah States, (2°C) above March normal temperatures in Magway Region, Kachin, Southern Shan and Mon States and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (41°C) each in Magway and Bawlakhae, (40°C) each in Meiktila, Tada U, Minbu, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun and Taunggu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (0.28)inch and Putao (0.12)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated to scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States.
