26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Chin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April normal temperature in Kachin State, (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Taninthayi Region, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States, (2°C) below April normal temperatures in Northern Shan and Chin States and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (41°C)each in Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taunggu and Hlaingbwe. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Dawei (1.54)inches, Kunlong (1.18)inches, Bhamo (0.74)inch, Aunglan (0.71)inch, Thipaw (0.67)inch, Monyin and Mogaung (0.59)inch each and Myitkyina (0.55)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
