1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw and rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mon State and isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Paung (5.20)inches, Kawkareik (3.54)inches, Mudon (3.03)inches, Kyeikmaway (2.99)inches, Thaton (2.60)inches, Shwebo (2.56)inches,  Singu(Agro-met) (2.50)inches, Yay  (2.16)inches and Mawlamyine (2.04)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East Central Bay of Bengal and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mon State. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
