1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay  Regions, Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Northern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread  in Taninthayi Region, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Shwekyin (7.56)inches, Belin (6.77)inches, Gwa (6.62)inches, Madauk (4.80)inches, Paung (4.72) inches, Launglon (4.25)inches, Myeik (4.05)inches, Kyeikmayaw (4.02)inches, Mawlamyine (3.94)inches, Dawei (3.54) inches, Mudon (3.31)inches, Nyaunglaybin (3.27)inches, Chaungsone (2.95)inches, Phyu (2.67)inches, Kyeikkhame (2.64) inches and  Coco-Island (2.56)inches.  

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwaddy Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -13)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
