25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter Inside Myanmar (about 3 miles Northeast of Hopin), latitude 25.01°N, longitude 96.56°E, depth (12)kilometers, about (67) miles Southwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (10)hr (36)min (47)sec M.S.T on 23rd November, 2019.
