SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin, Eastern Shan and Mon States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan(North and South) and Chin States, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions and Kayah State, and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon Region. Night temperatures were about November average temperatures in the whole country. The significant night temperatures were (12°C) in Loilin and Hkamti. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Coco-Island (3.31)inches, Nyaung Oo (1.46)inches, Kyaukmae (1.18)inches, Monywa (Kyehmon) (1.02)inches, Myingyan (0.99)inch and Pyinoolwin (0.95)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:00)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Bay has intensify into a depression and reached over central and adjoining South Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (310)miles Southeast of Vishakhapatnam (India), (440)miles South of Paradip (India). It would move initially Northwest wards and recure Northeast wards towards Bangladesh coast during next (48)hrs. Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th November, 2016: Weather will be partly cloudy in Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, Shan (North and South), Chin and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30)m.p.h.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuous of rain or thundershowers scattered to fairly widespread in Sagaing Regions and Chin State.
