30-6-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Celebes Sea, Philippines) about (1985) miles Southeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (12) hr (43) min (48) sec M.S.T on 10^th January, 2017.
