SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Kayin and Mon States, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) above January average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) below January average temperature in Kachin and Chin States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-4°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Putao, Pinlaung, Heho and  Moekok, (4°C) each in Naungcho, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th January, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and  Magway Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
