24-7-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and North Odisha Coasts, India during next 48 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (18:30) hrs MST today, due to the western disturbances, rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated to scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and due to the easterly waves, scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kayin, Mon States from (26.2.2022) to (28.2.2022).

        People should be awared untimely rainfall accompanied with thunder, 
lightning and hails.
