A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Bangladesh), latitude 23.29°N, longitude 90.92°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (176) miles west-northwest of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (10)hr (05)min (28)sec M.S.T on  2nd  December, 2023.
