Bay of Bengal Conditon
Southwest monsoon is likely to set in Southern Myanmar areas during (13-18) of May and Deltaic Myanmar area during (19-24) May. The deep depression formed over the South Bay of Bengal during the first dekad of May may continue to persist in the second dekad of May, and it may further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm. During this period, monsoon will be moderate. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Rain condition and Rainy Day
Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in NayPyiTaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Northern and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and about normal in Tanintharyi Region and Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Tanintharyi Regions and Kachin, Northern and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about (4) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States.
