Rain or thundershowers will be below normal in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern Shan) States and about normal in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States.
Rainy days are expected about 1 to 2 days in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan States. Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States.

Night temperature will be 1.5°C below normal of January average Temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kayah, Kayin, Eastern Shan States and about normal of January average Temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States.

Foggy days will be expected about 6 to 10 days in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Shan States and about 1 to 5 days in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine States.
