23-11-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on 24-11-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and  North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

            A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Southwest Monsoon will be weak to moderate over the Andaman sea and South Bay and Moderate over the elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain or thundershowers will be  likely above normal in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, (N&E) Shan and Chin States, below normal in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, about normal in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Region, Southern Shan, and Kayah States.

Rainy days are expected about (6) to (8) days in Upper  Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (N&E)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, (3) to (5) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan State.
