Thunderstorms
A thunderstorm is a type of storm that is often confused with a hurricane. A thunderstorm is not a true storm. However, it is more severe than a hurricane. It is a weather phenomenon caused by the process of thermal convection. The most obvious signs of a thunderstorm are lightning, thunder, and strong winds. Although the rainfall is not very heavy, it usually occurs for a short period of time (about 30 minutes) and then stops after the thunderstorm. It is a phenomenon that poses a danger to people and animals during the pre-, early-, and late-rain periods.
