2-9-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely  to further intensify during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it  is likely  to move  west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 48 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

 Well Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal (off Odisha Coast, India) has moved West–Northwestwards slowly and now lies over South coastal Odshia, India still persists. It is likely continue to move West–Northwestwards and may reach interior Odisha and Chhatitisgarh, India and downgrade into a Low Pressuer Area during next 12 hours.
