BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, yesterday’s the low pressure area over the Gulf of Thailand and adjoining Malay peninsula has moved over the South Andaman Sea still persists. It is forecast to intensify into a depression during next (48)hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, yesterday’s the low pressure area over the Gulf of Thailand and adjoining Malay peninsula has moved over the South Andaman Sea.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kayin and Mon States and isolated in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate to rough sea are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-6) feet in Deltic and off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread to scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
