Cyclonic Storm
According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm "FANI" over the Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards and centered at about (300) miles East-Northeast of Trincomalee (Sri-Lanka), (410)miles Southeast of Chennai (India) and (510)miles Southeast of Machilipatnam. It is forecast to move Northwestwards.
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Cyclonic Storm is coded yellow stage.

Cyclonic Storm "FANI" is located at Latitude (9.3) degree North and Longitude (86.2) degree East, centre pressure of Cyclonic Storm is (998) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (55)miles per hour at (15:30) hrs MST today.

It is forecast to further intensify into a Severe Cyclonic Storm "FANI" during next (6)hrs and a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm "FANI" during next (36)hrs. It is forecast to move Northwestwards and then recurve North-Northeastwards during next (72)hours.
