SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Northern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay Region, Kachin and Southern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Falam (1.38)inches, Matupi (1.10)inches, Tharrawady (0.90)inch, Tiddim (0.87)inch, Thipaw and Tongzan (0.82) inch each and Hakha (0.79)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
