4-9-2025:: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast has moved west-northwestwards over the North Odisha coast. It is likely continued to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India and gradually weakened during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (10) miles west of Salin ) latitude 20.58°N, longitude 94.49°E, depth (8) kilometers about (51) miles Southwest of Nyaung U seismological observatory was recorded at (03)hr. (03)min (59)sec M.S.T. on 4th October, 2018.
